Building on our strong track record of working with companies, AMIC has an experienced and professional team of engineers and technologists with deep sectoral knowledge. Many of our team have a background in industry and understand the commercial pressures and challenges of manufacturing/production environments.
We are expanding our capacity to tackle key industry challenges with enhanced capability in digitalisation, design and sustainability. As AMIC continues to grow, we are keen to develop new talent and bring onboard new skills to support business needs.
MEET AMIC’S CHIEF EXECUTIVE
As AMIC CEO, Sam Turner is driving forward plans to propel industrial transformation and address the future technology and skills challenges faced by Northern Ireland’s manufacturing sector.
With over 20 years of manufacturing R&D experience in the aerospace and automotive sectors, Sam has extensive knowledge and capability to lead the AMIC team.
He has been seconded to lead AMIC from his role as Chief Technology Officer at the High Value Manufacturing Catapult where he played a key role in the successful development of Factory of the Future at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre in Sheffield.
